The products of SMEU Astana LLP were presented at Digital Qazaqstan 2026 exhibition ( Shymkent).
The Digital Qazaqstan 2026 forum, dedicated to shaping the industry of the future and the digital transformation of the economy, took place on March 27, 2026, in Shymkent as part of a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council attended by the prime ministers of the EAEU member states. The Forum demonstrated the course of the Republic of Kazakhstan towards the development of digital technologies, including the introduction of artificial intelligence, the development of smart cities and the creation of a unified digital ecosystem.
The Intelligent Transport System (ITS), developed by SMEU Astana LLP, as one of the key elements of the city's digital infrastructure, was presented at Shymkent exposition. The ITS system is a domestic Kazakhstani development and implements the principles of "smart" technologies through the analysis of traffic flows and adaptive control of traffic lights. In the demo mode, the real-time operation of the system was shown, including monitoring of the traffic situation and dynamic control of the phases of traffic lights. Special attention was paid to the practical implementation of the system, its impact on reducing congestion, increasing capacity and ensuring road safety.
A wide range of transport detectors used and their role in ensuring the correct operation of adaptive control were also demonstrated. The ITS system is a comprehensive solution that combines detection, management, and analytics tools into a single system. The function of priority passage of special vehicles ("green corridor") was presented in a separate block. During the demonstration, an ambulance is escorted, in which the system automatically ensures that the traffic lights are turned on along the route. This mechanism can significantly reduce the arrival time of emergency services and improve road safety.
The demonstration generated significant interest among forum participants, including representatives of government agencies and international delegations, and demonstrated the practical effectiveness of the implemented solutions in the field of intelligent traffic management.
